This module is designed for companies that use meters in their daily job. Meters database is visible in the Tasker desktop environment, and application users complete actions with meters in their applications.
When you open a Tasker account, the meters section is visible in the left menu between “Objects” and “Materials”.
Meters can be filtered by object number, customer number, object, serial number, owner and status.
By clicking "Arrange", you will be able to choose what information you would like to see in the list of the meters. If you select the check boxes, they will be displayed and unchecked entries will not be displayed in the list table.
You will see "Brand Codes" next to the “Meter list” tab. You will see existing brand codes and be able to add a new ones in this section. It is possible to filter entries by code, description, diameter, scale marks and archived / unarchived brand codes.
To create a new brand code, click "+ New brand code" button. Fill in the required information and click "Save". The new brand code entry will appear in the brand code list.
When creating a task, by selecting a particular object you will be able to see all the meters assigned to that object. Select the ones that the application user will be required to take actions.
An app user who receives a task on his mobile device will be able to see the information of all object meters before he even starts the task.
Once the task is started, the user will see all the meters in the object, but the meters that were added to the task will be marked with a green vertical line on the left. This way the app user will know which meters to perform actions with.
Regardless of the task type that was chosen when creating the task, the app user will be able to perform the following actions with the meter: change, uninstall, seal, unseal, readings, defect or other. Pencil icon will open the meter edit window.
When the app user selects “Change” action, he will have to fill in the required information about the old and new meter in the opened window. After completing the required fields and clicking "OK", the meter information will be updated.
If the app user selects "Uninstall" function, he will have to select the reason for the removal, the status, readings and, if necessary, leave a comment. Clicking "OK" will save the action.
The app user will need to enter meter readings to perform “Unseal” action. The comment field is optional for this action. If you select "OK", the action in the app will be saved.
There are two required fields for the sealing: "Readings" and "Seal". By filling in these fields, the action can be saved. An additional field for the comment is optional.
When an app user chooses to perform “Readings” action from the drop down list, the action is completed when required “Readings” field and optional “Comment” field are filled.
“Defect” and “Other” option opens a window asking app user to write a comment. When a user comments in the “Comment” field and selects “OK”, the action is saved.
More than one action can be performed on the app for the same meter.
When the app user completes actions with meters, the task end window will show all actions that have been performed with one or another meter. The example shows meter “Change” action information.
The completed task’s PDF act displays basic information about the task, along with actions taken by the app user and entered data. The example shows the completed task’s PDF act, where the meter was changed. If other actions were performed in the task, they will be displayed in the act too.
