One of the greatest questions of nowadays businesses is how to manage your contractors efficiently? Tasker Contractor’s module is design to help you solve communication and management issues. Reasonable management allows you to build a relationship with your suppliers and service providers that will strengthen both businesses.

In the left menu you will see “Contractors” option. Click on it and you will be able to create a new contractor or to edit/archive or view existing ones. For edit/archive/view option right click on the entry and select the action accordingly.

You can filter contractors by title, tags, domain and creation date. Also you can choose show or hide archived entries.

What is more you can select visible columns in the contractors' list. Click “Arrange” button and mark or unmark the checkboxes. Then click “Submit”. Only those columns that you marked will be displayed.

If you would like to add a new contractor, click “+New contractor” button. You will need to enter contractor's title, its Tasker domain and create or select tags that will help you to identify each contractor. When all the information is filled, click “Save”. New contractor will appear in the list.

To see linked task requests click on left menu and select “Linked task requests”. You will be able to create a new linked task request here or manage existing ones by reviewing and editing them.

You could download task PDF report and see all the information about the finished task. Remember, that this option is only available if the task status is “Completed”

There are various filters in this window. You can filter linked task requests by task number, contractor, customer, task type and other information regarding the request.

“Arrange” button will let you to choose what information to show in the list. Select relevant information and click “Submit”.

If you would like to create a new linked task request, click green “+New linked task request” button. Title, priority and object are required fields. You should also select a contractor (if you will not do it in this window, you still will have to select it later) and a task type. Description field is optional but you could always add some additional information about the request here. Note will be visible for administrators and contractor, but not visible for the customer. Internal note is designed for internal use only so other parties will not be able to see it. You could also add some documents or pictures in files section below.

When linked task request is created, assigned contractor can find it in its domain, “Task requests” tab. Click “Tasks” in the left menu and select tab “Task requests”.

Contractor can see all linked tasks requests sent to its account. Different filters such as title, creation date, customer, object, created by, object city, customer city could be used. Also user can use “Arrange” button to select what columns should be displayed in the list.

At first object has to be linked with internal object. Click “Link to internal object” and you will see object’s name and address and will be able to link it with your internal object. If you do not have the object in your system that could be related to this object, use “New object” option at the end of the list to create a new one.

When an object is selected, click “Save”. Now when the object is linked, you will be able to create a task from it. Right click on the request and select “Create task”.

Task creation window will appear. Select “Planned start time”, “Task type” and assign a user. You could also edit information that are already automatically filled from the request. Click “Save” to create a task or “Add jobs and more” if you would like to add some information to a task at first.

When task is created, task request will disappear from the list. The status of the task will be visible for both sides: in the account that has created a linked task request and also the contractor’s account.

When task is completed, PDF report is available for both sides too.
